One of, if not the, most important aspect of Attacktix is the concept of the attack. Attack is one of the words from which "Attacktix" was formed, and certainly attacking is a crucial part of the game. Each figure (with the exception of figures such as R2-D2 and R2-Q5) has its own attack. On a player's turn he or she may move all of their figures up to the number of tix shown on the dial, and then attack with two different figures. The attacks vary greatly, from figures that swing lightsabers to figures that launch missiles to figures that "poke" or prod, and even figures that throw rocks or kick. Figures that strike, whether with lightsabers, stun staffs, clawed hands, or otherwise, are typically referred to as Strikers. Figures that shoot missiles are typically referred to as Launchers. Figures that prod are typically referred to as prodders.
